From what I can gather in their performance, since this song was the kind where the dance is focused on rather than vocals (which would include good vocal techniques or at least better handling of the singing to make the vocalist shine more), Sohee in particular, and sometimes, Yooa, did this thing where you'd do that sort of falsetto thing for high notes.
I don't know how I could put this to English, but in Tagalog, it's like 'iniipit mo ang boses mo'. Literally meaning pinching your voice.
It could make it harder to sing and leave you breathless, especially for dances that include you having to bend or move your torso around.
I think if she opened up her throat more and sang it from her chest voice, or not change the way she did it and just not move her upper body a lot, I think she won't be as breathless. :DD
Honestly speaking, the song is not that great. But the idols managed to pull it off because of their already established fanbases and polished skils. I wonder what if an actual rookie group got that song as their debut song. DISASTROUS.
They coulda done better with YooA's lips tho.
I need to have a word with their stylist. The outfits are just outright BLAND. They are senior idols! For god's sake, don't play SO safe!!!!!
